Greater Manchester East - World Scout Jamboree Sweden 2011
Swede Dreamz were asked to perform at the Greater Manchester East Scouts - Jamboree In Sweden event on Saturday, 26th June 2011. The event, attracting almost two thousand scouts and leaders from around the UK, took place in rather soggy-under-foot conditions near Stockport in rural Cheshire. Unfortunately, due to the saturated ground in the area surrounding the main stage, it was deemed unsuitable and the show was transferred to a nearby hall.
We're certain the 38,000 scounts from around the world attending the jamboree in Sweden will have a fantastic time. Special thanks to Claire Jarvis, the Assistant County Commissioner for Greater Manchester East Scout County, for all the hard word and quick-thinking!
