Swede Dreamz would like to thank everyone for their many kind words and support following recent gigs in Inverness (20/08/2010) and Stornoway (21/08/2010).

It was our first time in Inverness (despite the fact we have passed by on a number of occasions usually en-route to Wick in the far north).  Jaff (Hardstone Music), the Ramada Hotel staff and a warm audience made us feel very welcome.  Thank you to all and we hope we can do it all again at some point in the future.

Day two and some breath-taking countryside en-route to Ullapool before a three hour ferry crossing to Stornoway and the Isle of Lewis.  To say it was a little windy would be an understatement!  We arrived at Stornoway a lot later than scheduled (and just a touch greener than expected).  A very responsive crowd and a fabba of a gig.  Again, thank you to all for kind comments including Donna MacLeod who emailed us after the show to say “I would just like to say a big thank you for the gig on Saturday night in Stornoway (and thanks for enduring the ferry crossing).  It was a huge success and everyone I have spoken to since had an excellent night.  It was something different for us.  The costumes really added to the effect of the bands.  It was professional and extremely entertaining.  Keep up the good work and hopefully we will get to see you again in the future”.

Due to the Sunday mid afternoon return ferry sailing time, the day was spent either at Stornoway Port, on the boat or travelling back home from Ullapool to Cumbria (a six hour journey on its own).

All in all, a great weekend with some positive feedback all round – we really hope we can do it all again sometime soon!
