A hectic (but very festive) December 2013 finally gave way to 2014, our tenth anniversary year which got off to a flyer start with several private birthday party bookings and hotel party nights. Swede Dreamz were delighted to be invited back to Wolverhampton Racecourse in February 2014 (after an initial ABBA show in October 2013) for the launch and first live music event of the year at this popular all-weather track.

Looking ahead, the band will strutting their stuff ABBA-style at a number of events and shows around the UK including Cumbria Pride in Carlisle (Saturday 14/06/2014), headlining at Burntwood Wakes Festival (Saturday 19/07/2014) for a second consecutive year and also Ledbury Carnival in Herefordshire (Bank Holiday Monday 25/08/2014). Further details regarding these events in due course.

The band look forward to working with regular clients in 2014 including the Great Barr Hotel in Birmingham, the Cairndale Hotel & Leisure Club in Dumfries, Outrageous Cabaret Bar in Carlisle, Stanwix Holiday Park in Cumbria, the Mercure Hotel in Norwich and Warner Leisure Hotels (Warners have already started to book dates for 2015)!

As advised earlier, 2014 is our tenth anniversary year (as well as forty years since ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest and fifteen years of the smash-hit musical Mamma Mia! in London’s West End). So what better to celebrate this magical year than a run of dates in Blackpool, the UK’s top seaside resort? Swede Dreamz will be appearing in Blackpool, Lancashire each and every Thursday from July to October inclusive. Tickets are on-sale (see link on left).

The band is currently busy working on some additional ABBA tracks (couple of hits and some beautiful album tracks) which they have already started slotting into shows. And if that’s not enough, Swede dreamz will be filming new promotional video next month.

All-in-all, 2014 is shaping-up to be a fabbatastic year. The band hopes to see you at a show (or two) soon …
